In Judaism, the only real law relating to which fabrics might be interwoven together in clothing worries the mixture of linen and wool, known as shaatnez; it's restricted in Deuteronomy 22:11 "Thou shalt not have on a mingled things, wool and linen jointly" and Leviticus 19:19, "...neither shall there arrive on thee a garment of two forms of things
